This Pear & Somerset Brandy Jam is a very special collaboration which combines the freshness of English Conference pears, Bramley apples, unrefined cane sugar and a generous measure of aged cider brandy to create a delightful Pear & Brandy Jam.Ā
Distilled from vintage apple trees, grown in traditional Somerset orchards, this is the only cider brandy in under EU/UK law to be awarded Protected Geographical Status.
A jar of Pear & Brandy Jam which is light and fresh with hints of dried fruit from this very special spirit, matured in oak casks. Delicious with cheese as with a conventional scone.
Ingredients: Fresh pears 92%, unrefined sugar, water, Bramley apples, lemon juice, Somerset Cider Brandy 2%, Cider 1.5%. Prepared with 110g of fruit per 100g. Total sugar content 60g per 100g.
