This lined journal is bound with a diagonal collage of shape and colour, featuring vibrant burnt orange cherry blossoms, flocks of white cranes flying across the complex patchwork of traditional Japanese pattern against blocks of rose pink, vermillion red and petrol blue.

The design is selected from an archive of designs in Kyoto Japan, then a small family-run silk screen print studio re-produces the artwork for covering journals like this.

This paper features a gold accent screen, that gives it a truly opulent finish.
