Jute fibre is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and thus environmentally friendly, and also does not generate toxic gases when burnt. The jute used in this rug comes from Bangladesh and is harvested up to three times a year without the use of pesticides. It’s one of the toughest natural fibres available.
